In a new teaser shots that shows the backside of the new Infiniti Q80 Inspiration the Japanese car maker reveals more of their audacious new concept car which is headed to the 2014 Paris Motor Show. The fastback saloon is described by Infiniti as “category-breaking” and “supremely luxurious.”

Set to give the brand an invigorating new image, the Infiniti Q80 Inspiration is a top-of-the-line, luxury four-seat fastback with a long wheelbase of 3103 mm (122.2 in) and 22-inch five-dual-spoke lightweight alloys.

The car looks imposing and maybe intimidating even, what with the teardrop passenger greenhouse accentuated by lightweight acoustic glass, portal style doors, and smooth mirror less doors. Interior features include carbon fiber accents, aluminium, and leather, and a unique and spacious “1 + 1 + 1 + 1” seating configuration.

“After showing Q30 Concept and Q50 Eau Rouge, Infiniti is eager to show the upper range of our portfolio expansion,” says Infiniti Executive Design Director, Alfonso Albaisa. “In Q80 Inspiration, we wanted to capture that unforgettable feeling when you experience something important, something beautiful, something magnetic for the first time.”
