Another major motor show, and another Mitsubishi hybrid SUV concept. They’ve been stuck in this phase for so long, we are starting to think Mitsu’s top brass needs to see a shrink and talk about their commitment issues. Just make one of these concepts!
This is the latest concept headed for debut at the 2014 Paris Motor Show which opens its doors on October 2nd. It is called the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV Concept-S, and it is designed to be a special version of the Outlander PHEV production model. It has a refined interior and exterior design that will magnify the Outlander PHEV’s unique driving experience.
And it looks very good. It’s like Mitsubishi’s s design has matured and got rid of all its annoying features. What remains is what the car maker calls “Sporty and Sophisticated” features. What’s more, Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV boasts a twin-motor hybrid system which is a first in the crossover segment.
They have achieved a truly great thing with the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV Concept-S, but it doesn’t really matter, because this one too is going to end up on a shelf in the factory and collect Japanese dust for eternity.
