The guys at SR Auto have grown fond of the new Subaru WRX STI. This is their second STI treatment, and it is a thorough one, focusing this time on the performance rather than the appearances. SR’s Subaru gets a serious performance boost thanks to a series of deep modifications.

The enhanced performance we are talking about here for this Subaru WRX STI is not just about the power. It is a mix of raw horsepower combined with uprated suspension and larger wheels, which when introduced to the car’s symmetrical four-wheel-drive system results in excellent handling and driving thrill.

The suspension kit SR Auto has picked for Subaru WRX STI is a set of BC Racing BR Type coilovers and they work in tandem with 20-inch PUR 4OUR.SP wheels. The wheels have an awesome Matte Anthracite finish which is just about the only visual mod on the car.

Under the bonnet, SR has equipped this STI with Invidia Catback exhaust system complete with downpipe and bespoke tailpipes, as well as Cobb Accessport ECU remap. They haven’t revealed the performance figures for this neat package, but given the standard STi’s 305 horsepower output, the least you can expect is 330.
