A four-month old Porsche 991 GT3 with only 156 km on the clock has become available for sale. This virtually brad-new car can be yours for just 49,900 Euros, which is near as makes no difference a 100 grand less than a real brand-new one. Oh yes, there is just one slight problem with it. It is pretty much wrecked!
Having been involved in a serious crash, this Porsche 991 GT3 requires a whole lot of body work, plus new rear suspension and probably two new wheels and tires. But the engine is apparently in good working condition and already removed from the car, so whoever buys it can get right into the business of fixing the body.
The car is a right-hand-drive version and apparently fully loaded with every option form the factory. Since this GT3 is only four month old chances are it has also got the fire issue remedy and has no problem in that area. Still, paying 50K for this car sounds like a terrible gamble, as repair bills will surely be pretty fat, and at the end of the day it will be nothing more than a re-built car, which will never be as good as the original.
The best course of action for the owner of this Porsche 991 GT3 is to scrap it for parts.
