Former Caterham Chief Ansar Ali is now making sports car on his own, and judging by the fact that he’s actually released an S version of his first production model, things must be going good for him. Ali’s sports car is called the Zenos E10 and there is a new and more powerful S version of it out now.

Zenos E10 S comes with a mid-mounted turbo four-cylinder 2.0 liter EcoBoost engine tuned at 250 horsepower and over 400 Nm of torque. The car follows the Caterham’s philosophy of performance through lightness, which is why they kept the weight under 700 kg.

That means Zenos E10 S boasts a remarkable power to weigh ratio that allows it to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in around 4 seconds. But a car like Zenos is about straight line speed. It’s a track toy whose forte is cornering at incredible speeds.

To that end Zenos E10 S is equipped with Bilstein suspension, powerful brakes, and OZ light alloy wheels measuring 16 inch up front and 17 inch out back, as well as a limited slip differential.

Prices for the E10 S start from around 30,000 GBP. An extra 3 grand will buy a track package.
