Following the first announcement, Texan tuner Hennessey Performance has now revealed the full specs and details of their HPE700 upgrade program for the 2015 Ford Mustang. This is a full and thorough package that covers everything from the engine, to the body, wheels and exhausts.

Hennessey Mustang HPE700 is based on the 5.0 liter GT model on which the tuner has installed a huge 2.9 liter supercharger. This units compresses the air at 7.25 psi and forces it into the cylinders, boosting the output from the standard 430 horsepower to a massive 717 horsepower with 632 lb-ft torque.

With that kind of power you would expect the performance to be mind-bending, and indeed it is. Hennessey Mustang HPE700 accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 3.6 seconds and runs the quarter mile in 11.2 @ 131 mph.

Another great thing about this 2015 Ford Mustang by Hennessey is the cool aero kit they have designed for it, consisting of front spoiler, side sills, and rear spoiler. You can also order a set of Hennessey H10 Lightweight 20-inch wheels and a sport stainless steel exhaust system and you are set. They will only make 500 units of this car, each priced at $59,500 USD including the base Mustang.
