Hennessey Performance released the first details of their HPE600 upgrade kit for the Jaguar F-Type V8, including Coupe and R models. This package boosts the output of the 5.0 liter V8 in the British sports car to 623 horsepower and 568 lb-ft Torque.

Initial testing of Hennessey Jaguar F-Type on 93 octane pump fuel returned a best 0-60 mph time of 3.5 seconds and a quarter-mile time of 11.57 seconds @ 123 mph. This of course is only the beginning. The Jag’s engine has more potential and if anyone can extract it, it’s Hennessey’s power-crazed engineers.

Hennessey Jaguar F-Type HPE600 power kit includes a custom software upgrade, supercharger pulley upgrade, and intercooler cooling upgrade. Thee changes have resulted in an increase of nearly 130 horsepower. One would imagine that with a slightly beefier supercharger Hennessey can easily push that output to well over 700 horsepower.
