Talented designer and rendering artist X-Tomi is always a few steps ahead of the auto industry, releasing astonishingly accurate speculative renderings of upcoming models long before they are announced by the company. This time he brings you a high-performance version of the new Renault Twingo.

This Twingo hot hatch which will come with either an ‘RS’ or a ‘GT’ badge and packs about 30 percent more powerful that the standard model, while benefiting from uprated suspension and brakes, sporty interior, and revised styling. That last part, the styling, is the purpose of these renderings.

What X-Tomi is proposing is a nice and simple treatment with revised fascia front and rear featuring sports grille at the front and a diffuser at the back with dual tailpipe arrangement. There is also a roof spoiler, black side moldings, larger wheels and lowered ride height.

One would imagine the Renault Twingo RS also gets red-accented interior trim, sport leather seats, and aluminum sports pedals. What we are interested in is how the car drives. Small and fast Renaults have always been hoot and half to drive and this Twingo, at least on paper, seems to be no exception.
