Most of you car aficionados are probably familiar with the Megafactories series which gives an inside look at how automaker go about producing the shiny cars we all know and love. Now Volvo Construction Equipment has released such video about their L350F construction vehicle, only it’s the scale model version built by LEGO!

So in this video you get to see the process LEGO and Volvo CE went through to make the Volvo L350F. We have to be honest with you, even though it is just a toy, we do want one quite badly. It’s just so awesome!

Volvo L350F LEGO scale model isa highly detailed, fully remote-controlled model with all the features of Volvo CE’s largest real-life L350F wheel loader. It consists of 1,600 individual pieces and the largest individual element ever created for the brand. The upshot of all this is that the toy can carry up to 1 kg in its bucket and negotiate rough ground with ease.

“We tried to make it as realistic as possible, so it drives, steers and lifts the load just like the real thing,” says head of marketing and design manager Jeppe Juul Jensen. “You can also remove the oil filters, the radiator-door swings out, pistons move and the engine is painted green, just like in the real thing.”
