German tuner Prior Design decided to visit an old friend and revise their package for W221 Mercedes S-Class (the previous generation). Still looking hot today, the old S-Class gets a fairly thorough styling makeover designed to cover its age and give it a bolder presence.

Like most of Prior’s works, this one too is a wide body treatment with “wide” part put on steroid. Prior Design Mercedes S-Class gets in this ‘Version 2’ kit huge front wings and massive rear fender, paired with chunky side skirts that connect them together, and new sports bumpers with gloss black accents.

The new front bumper on Prior Design Mercedes S-Class features a PD Black Edition front spoiler and mesh grille inserts. At the back, there is a PD Black diffuser flanked by extra air vents on the sides, and a trunk spoiler. The only optional extra is a sport vented hood.

The cost of this wide boy kit for the W221 S-Class is 4,190 Euros. The sport bonnet will cost you an extra 1,800 bucks. Taking into account that W221 prices are plummeting these days, the best course of action would be to get something a S63 AMG and the fit it with this kit or something like this. This way you will end up with a superb sports and luxury saloon with over 500 horsepower and sexy looks, and it’ll cost you less than a brand-new mid-size sedan.
