SEMA-Bound Kia K900 Concept Revealed

Kia’s next custom car headed for debut at the 2014 SEMA show is based on the K900 luxury sedan. This car follows the same “A day at the races” theme they announced with the Smitten Soul EV  a few days ago, but this one has a more serious role than selling ice cream!

The Kia K900 High-Performance concept is apparently the “machine that carries a racing driver or team owner to and from the track on a daily basis,” in Kia’s own word. That doesn’t exactly convey confidence as it kind of admitting that Kias are suitable for fleet jobs and company car duty.

At any rate, the custom Kia K900 features a custom, one-off body kit with carbon fiber inserts, custom-blended gray paint, blacked-out chrome trim and massive 21-inch gloss-black wheels. The car looks surprisingly understated for a SEMA concept, which is a good thing, especially as it said to be hiding a huge power under those unassuming looks.
