TeslaVets 0 600x352 at Tesla Pays Tribute to Veterans with TeslaVets

Tesla’s founder and CEO Elon Musk is a visionary entrepreneur and he is not a Texan. So naturally you would think he is an anti-war, anti-military pacifist. Turns out Musk is a hard-core patriot, on the evidence of this unique TeslaVets P85 his company has commissioned to celebrate Veterans Day.

As mentioned, TeslaVets is based on a P85 Model S, customized and wrapped by SS Customs. The car features a hand cut and applied Camo vinyl wrap with one-off powder coated 21″ Model S wheels and Yakima roof basket on whispbars with full Armed Forces regalia.

One would argue that a desert camo wrap inspired by the Army’s Desert Camouflage Uniform (DCU) would have been more precise, considering that is what most units use these days. But nevertheless, the jungle camo SS Customs has applied to this Model S looks pretty awesome. It is certainly a more appropriate salute to the U.S. Armed Forces than what Kim Kardashian has come up with!
