The Spider version of the Alfa 4C has already been introduced, so it is only a matter of time before we see a high-performance GTA version. Alfa Romeo 4C Spider GTA should arrive a year after the 4C GTA Coupe, itself still in the works.
But you don’t have to wait that long to catch a glimpse of what that car may look like. Thanks to the strong imagination of X-Tomi, and his mad P’shop skills, we get to see a speculative rendering of the Alfa Romeo 4C Spider GTA, which, based on what know of the car, seems to be pretty close to the real thing.
Granted, Alfa has not yet officially confirmed the existence of the GTA program for the hardtop, let alone the Spider. But it makes perfect sense for Alfa to eventually make these models, what with the 4C being a limited edition, high-end product. With a GTA version they can pretty much name their price, and people will pay it.
So the upcoming Alfa Romeo 4C Spider GTA will have slightly different, slightly madder, front and rear bumpers, complete with a host of aero parts such as front splitter, side skirts, bigger rear diffuser, and a more defined rear duck tail spoiler. As for the engine, a beefed-up version of the existing 1,750cc unit seems like the most likely scenario.
