Infiniti announced the launch of their “head-turning” new SUV, the Infiniti QX70S Design, in the United Kingdom. Unveiled at the Paris Motor Show last year, this model is a leaner, meaner version of the QX70S featuring lots dark chrome bits.

Infiniti says dark chrome is the new black and it allows for a more sophisticated approach to the bad-boy look that male car buyers like so much. On the Infiniti QX70S you find the dark chrome pieces on the grille, fog light surrounds, side air scoops, side sills and rear number plate surround.

Combine these elements with the unique and interesting design of the QX70, formerly known as the FX, and you end up with a seriously cool looking SUV. But as if that wasn’t enough, Infiniti has also used smoked finish headlights, black roof rails and black mirrors, and black 21-inch six-spoke wheels.

Priced at £49,620 for the diesel or £49,775 for the 3.7 liter petrol, the 2015 Infiniti QX70S Design is based on the S-Premium model in terms of equipment, but inside the cabin it features black lacquer finish on the centre console and purple stitching for seats, steering, wheel, armrest and door trims.
