In a new video by Monster Energy, Hoonigan king Ken Block explains the philosophy behind his latest toy, the Ford F-150 Raptor TRAX, as well as its unique features and equipment. In essence, this truck is a tuned, 650-hp F-150 with tank tracks instead of tires.

But they are not there just because they look cool. A lot of science and thinking, sort of, has gone into the design and build of Ford F-150 Raptor TRAX, as Ken explains:

The Raptor TRAX has a V8 engine boosted with Whipple supercharger, and benefits from custom off-road suspension and, obviously, tracks. What’s particularly interesting is the fact that this F-150 is four-track-drive, which means it can go pretty much anywhere Ken fancies. When he finally makes a proper hoonigan video featuring this truck, we reckon there’s going to be lots of jumps, vertical climbing, and of course, some four-track drifting.
