With an ego swollen because of year after year of financial success, Subaru America announced the launch of a special edition Subaru XV Crosstrek model in the U.S. The bright yellow car, limited to 1,000 units, is being prepared for a Spring launch, starting from $25,290.

The main highlight of the Subaru XV Crosstrek Special Edition is the extras it gets over the 2.0i Premium model upon which it is based. It comes with STARLINK Multimedia audio system featuring a 7-inch multi-touch screen and satellite radio, Power Moonroof, exclusive Sunrise Yellow exterior, Keyless Access with Push-Button Start as well as Pin Code Access, leather-wrapped shift lever handle and steering wheel.

Visually, the special edition XV gets black side- and wheel-arch cladding, rocker spoiler and roof rails, as well as raised ride height, body-color roof spoiler and unique-design 17-inch wheels, not to mention tinted windows.

All the extra garnish does not mean the Subaru XV Crosstrek Special Edition is any less capable than its normal siblings. You still get all the usual goodies, including Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, high ground clearance (8.7 inches), and ample room for passengers and cargo. It also has Active Torque Split, Vehicle Dynamics Control (VDC), and Subaru’s legendary quality and durability. So all in all, the Crosstrek Special Edition is a well-rounded vehicle with a touch of style and sportiness.
