Yep, it’s yet another special edition Chevy pickup truck, this time based on the fairly compact Colorado. This one benefits from GearOn accessory system, and hence it’s called, rather unimaginatively, the Chevrolet Colorado GearOn edition.

GearOn accessories are designed to make life easier for the young bucks with an active lifestyle who need a vehicle capable of keeping up with all their hobbies and adventures. The system provides a multitude of mounting accessories for everything from bikes, kayaks, skis and stand-up paddle boards to a bed-mounted tent.

The GearOn system on the Chevrolet Colorado GearOn edition is complemented with a number of extras, including EZ Lift and Lower tailgate; off-road assist steps; gloss black 18-inch aluminum wheels; body-color grille; front and rear black Chevy bowtie emblems; front fog lamps; rear window defogger; and remote start.

To be unveiled at the Chicago Auto Show, Chevrolet Colorado GearOn is only offered with the LT trim level in extended or crew cab configurations, with the long or short cargo bed and available 4WD. It is priced from $31,250.
