MINI Clubman Vision Gran Turismo Revealed

MINI Clubman Vision Gran Turismo 0 600x404 at MINI Clubman Vision Gran Turismo Revealed

With amazing Vision concepts from Mercedes-Benz and Aston Martin available in the Gran Turismo 6 video game, we are not sure if anybody wants to play with a MINI. But the British company went ahead and launched one anyway, if just for the prestige of being involved in something big.

As with all other VisionGT cars, the MINI Clubman Vision Gran Turismo is a looker. It they make something like this in the real world, we’d buy it in a heartbeat. But in the real world you have rules and regulations you have to comply with, and that makes production of such a thing an impossibility. So we need to be content with the virtual world.

Based on the Clubman, which is an ugly and pointless car in the real world, The Vision MINI features all the ingredients of a full-blooded sports car. It is wide and low, almost hugging the ground as it goes along, and boasts a massive aero kit consisting of adjustable front splitter, side skirts, double roof spoiler and rear diffuser. What’s more, it’s got racing-style fuel filler thingy and dual tailpipes in the middle of the bumper. Ask anyone, that’s cool!

The engine they are proposing for the MINI Clubman Vision Gran Turismo is a 395-hp unit mated to a six-speed sequential gearbox and couple with permanent all-wheel-drive. It enables the car to accelerate – inside your Playstation, that is – from 0 to 100 km/h n 3.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 290 km/h.
