The latest edition of Fiat’s ultra successful 500 city car to grace the British market with its presence is a new special edition version of the hot Abarth 500 called the Bi-Colore. As the name clearly suggests, the main feature of this model is a two-tone paint job. But also comes with some nice extras.
Abarth 500 Bi-Colore features a special ‘Scorpione’ two-tone Black over Record Grey paint finish, complemented with 17-inch 10-spoke diamond finish alloy wheels, Abarth sports seats with natural leather trim, and rear privacy glass. These are the extra goodies you get over the standard model.
Engine-wise, Abarth 500 Bi-Colore is powered by the tried and tested 1.4 Turbo T-Jet 16-valve developing 135bhp and 206Nm of torque. That is enough oomph to take the car from nought to 60 mph in 7.9 seconds and on to a top speed of 127 mph. Average fuel consumption stands at just over 47 mpg.
The standard kit on the Bi-Colore also includes leather steering wheel, Dualdrive electric power steering with Sport function, climate control, CD and MP3 with six speakers and Blue&Me hands-free system. Production is limited to just 50 units, each costing £15,990.
