A luxury car dealer in the United Kingdom is asking for £599,000 GBP for a brand-new Ferrari 458 Speciale A (Aperta). The car is uniquely specced, but that doesn’t really justify the price tag, which is as near as makes no difference twice what a 458 A costs you at the factory.
The only catch here is that Ferrari 458 Speciale A is a limited edition model of only 499 units, and the way Ferrari works they are all pre-sold long before they even start the production. That makes Ferraris more exclusive, but also enables greedy car dealers to practically name their own price when it comes to selling their pre-ordered cars.
If you are willing to pay almost 600 grand for this Ferrari 458 Speciale A though, you get a pretty awesome machine. The exterior is finished in Rosso Corsa and garnished with naked carbon fiber sills and aero parts, plus a two-tone Speciale stripe. The interior features Rosso leather and Alcantara as well as gorgeous carbon fiber trim pieces. Naturally, the car is loaded with every option Ferrari offers for this model, which aren’t that many anyway.
Engine-wise, Ferrari 458 Speciale A is powered by a 605 horsepower 4.5 liter V8 out of the normal Speciale. This is, after all, a convertible version of the same car and gets all of the electronics, including the Side Slip Angle Control, which made the Coupe an instant hit.
