Kia K900 “King James Edition” to be Auctioned

King James Edition Kia K900 600x399 at Kia K900 “King James Edition” to be Auctioned

As you might be aware, last year Kia tapped NBA star LeBron James to be the face of their new luxury sedan, Kia K900. All LeBron had to do, in exchange for a big pile of money, was star in some ads and say how he likes the car modified. Now it’s time for LeBron to give something back and he is doing so by sending his Kia K900 “King James Edition” to the auction block.

The heavily customized car will be auctioned off with proceeds benefitting the Lebron James Family Foundation. So it’s all for a good cause, even though we suspect the man came up with this plan mainly because he didn’t want to drive a Kia in public, but also didn’t want to hurt Kia’s feelings!

Kia K900 “King James Edition” was customized by Celebrity Auto Group using inputs from the superstar. The red sedan was lowered and fitted with 22-inch custom wheels, and then fitted with a bunch of extras such as Alcantara suede headliner, customized Lexicon Logic 7 audio system, King James logos inside and out, Llumar Ceramic window tint, personalized King James Limited Edition Plaque #01 and LBJ icons in the headrests, and …

“I’m excited to share this custom car with the winning bidder and even more proud that all of the proceeds are going to help my Foundation continue its amazing work,” said LeBron James.  “All of the proceeds raised will help us keep kids in school and give them an education that is extremely important for their futures.”
