Shelby American took the wraps off their own interpretation of a perfect Ford F-150 Raptor in form of the Shelby Baja 700. Boasting 700+ horsepower, this super truck competes with the now internationally famous Hennessey Velociraptor.

Offered as a street-legal package, the Shelby Baja 700 can be fitted to all 2011-2014 Ford SVT Raptor models and consists mainly of 700+ supercharged horsepower engine kit, competition suspension and BFGoodrich Baja-proven K02 tires. Sadly, they are only building 50 packages to maintain exclusivity, and they are priced at $45,000. That is excluding the Raptor, of course.

To get into more details about the ingredients of the Shelby Baja 700 kit, the engine kit will include a 2.9 liter Whipple supercharger plus bigger throttle bodies and a Borla exhaust system. Visually, the truck is set apart from normal models by special edition graphics, badging, classic Shelby striping, 18” custom wheels and optional Rogue Racing front and rear bumpers.

“The Shelby Raptor became a star the moment we launched it at the New York Auto Show in 2012,” said Joe Conway, co-CEO of Carroll Shelby International and CEO of Shelby American. “Carroll had a love for trucks and brought his high performance, ‘Texas style’ to the drawing board when he envisioned the Shelby Raptor. This special edition Shelby Baja 700 builds on that vision, as it was created to conquer any terrain.”
