After the Vision Gran Turismo Roadster now comes the VW GTI Supersport Vision Gran Turismo, a hardtop, hatchback variant of the virtual Golf for Gran Turismo 6 players. This car is nothing but a flight of fancy, but everything about it, from the looks to the proposed technical specs, is feasible for a super hot production Golf.
VW GTI Supersport Vision Gran Turismo comes with a cool aero kit reminiscent of the old Worthersee concepts featuring stuff like double spoiler, chunky side skirts, large air intakes, honeycomb grille, and large 20-inch wheels accommodated lovingly by massively flared wheel arches. The car has a low center of gravity and is pitched as a lightweight concept with a power to weight ratio of 2.5 kilograms per horsepower.
In terms of mechanical features, VW GTI Supersport Vision Gran Turismo is virtually blessed with a 503 HP VR6 TSI engine coupled with a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox (DSG), distributing its power between all four wheels via 4MOTION all-wheel-drive system. This drivertrain enables the unreal car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 300 km/h.
Available in “Reflex Silver”, “Gran Turismo Red”, “Lapiz Blue” or “Oryx White” VW GTI Supersport Vision Gran Turismo can now be downloaded in GT6 and raced on 37 different circuits.
