Yesterday we told you about a gathering of seven McLaren P1s at a dinner party in Newport Beach. Turns out Ferrari owners wanted a get together of their own, and this being Ferrari, they decided it should be on a race track. The seven Ferraris that turned up for this event included four LaFerraris and three Enzos.

So it is fair to say that the Ferrari Challenge track day at Sonoma Raceway is one of the most impressive Ferrari event in history. The Ferrari elite brought their hyper cars to the race track for a few light laps, honoring the brand and enjoying the performance of their super expensive machines. If you want to see these hyper car pushed harder, check out Ferrari’s chief test driver Dario Benuzzi giving them a proper spanking at Fiorano.

At some point during the video we thought we were suffering from double vision, but really it was just two yellow LaFerraris being chased by two black Enzos. We’re pretty sure that’s the first time something like that has happened. There were also a black LaFerrari and a red one present at the event, as well as a red Enzo.
