Pagani Zonda ZoZo Returns in New Pictures

It is not really surprising anymore to see new versions of the Zonda here and there, as it has now become clear that Pagani has no intention of retiring this model. But a few weeks ago we saw this Pagani Zonda ZoZo at the factory and it managed to startle us with its unique paint job and styling features. It looked like an all-new take on the aging Zonda.

Our suspicions have now been confirmed as new pictures of the Pagani Zonda ZoZo emerge revealing design features never seen before on this model. The car is based on the Zonda 760 series which is the road-going version of the Zonda R track car and comes with a beefed-up V12 engine, racing aero kit, and paddle shift transmission. But technical details don’t matter compared to the one-off design this Zonda is rocking.

The owner of Pagani Zonda ZoZo, who is a Japanese fashion entrepreneur, wanted his car finished in purple. But in doing so he ran the risk of being mistaken for Lewis Hamilton, who owns a similarly-specced, similarly-colored Zonda 760. So they come up with this idea to set the ZoZo apart by giving it something extra in form of bespoke carbon fiber rear wheel arches that cover part of the wheels in true vintage race car fashion. The car also gets purple brake calipers and Zonda R-like taillights.

That’s a pretty cool touch, but we should probably wait and see the thing when it’s completely finished before we judge it. These pictures show the Pagani Zonda ZoZo in its final stages of development on temporary wheels and wearing protective film and unpolished parts. It looks great as it is, but the finished product should be truly awesome.
