Forgiato Wheels are renowned for their bold and daring styling and their affinity for using vibrant and showy colors. Sometimes though, this attitude results in products that, whichever way you cut them, aren’t really cool. This red-wheeled Mercedes AMG GT is a case in point.

Mercedes-Benz and AMG pride themselves that for once they have managed to design a sports car without using an excessive dose of chrome, huge nostrils, or doors that open like the wings of a dragon from Game of Thrones. Mercedes AMG GT is a discreet sports car and that’s why everybody loves this thing.

So what Forgiato has done here – based on an order from a customer, we imagine – is come up with a solution to ruin all that in one swift go. They fitted the Mercedes AMG GT – which is incidentally painted in the most understated color of them all, silver – with a set of extra shiny Candy Red ELC-1 rims. Job done!

Of course, if you are the kind of guy who likes sneakers that look like a child’s color book and takes pride in the brand of his underwear, which is why he puts them on display by pulling his pants down to his junk in public, you are going to love this treatment. But if you have any sort of education, culture, or self-respect, you will find it ridiculous and maybe a tad revolting.
