Before Top Gear uses the VelociRaptor pickup truck in one of the very last episodes of the Clarkson era, not many people outside America knew about this amazing piece of Yankee tuning. The fame the car gained from that exposure has convinced Hennessey they should  expand the lineup and they are doing so with the Hennessey VelociRaptor SUV.

Previewed in these official renderings, the 2015-2016 Hennessey VelociRaptor SUV will be based on the Ford F-250 Lariat pickup-truck with the 6.2 liter V8 engine and 4×4 system. The conversion kit the Texan tuner is proposing includes 4 new doors, rear cargo doors, middle row captains chairs and folding 3rd row bench seat for a total of 7 seats, and optional middle row 60/40 folding center console with seating for 8. There’s also the VelociRaptor front bumper upgrade, badges and plaques.
