We have already told you in detail how the boys at Mcchip-DKR tuning center in Germany managed to extract 80 extra horsepower from the 4.0 liter bi-turbo V8 engine in the Mercedes AMG GT S. Now the tuner has sent the car out for a proper photoshoot and it gives us an excuse to remind ourselves what can be achieved only a few lines of code and a couple of thousand Euros.

It is a refreshing change of pace to see one of Mcchip’s cars out in the open. Often they feature their cars on the dyno machine, which is a relevant place to showcase a freshly upgraded car, as it suggests the numbers the tuner is claiming for that car are genuine and verified. But it gets old after a while. That’s why we quite like these fresh photos of Mcchip Mercedes AMG GT.

Before you checkout the photos we should just point out as a recap that Mcchip Mercedes AMG GT gets an extra 80 horsepower and 100 Nm of torque in this upgrade program, bringing the total power output of the sports car to 590 horsepower and 750 Nm of torque. The 1,899 Euro chip tuning reduced the 0-100 km/h acceleration time from 3.8 to 3.6 seconds and increases the top speed to 320 km/h.
