British sports car maker Aston Martin announced their lineup for the 2015 edition of Pebble Beach Concours d’Elagance, and the good news is the Vulcan is heavily featured in it. Aston’s track monster is accompanied by the cream of the production cars and an awesome concept model.
The concept is the DBX we saw at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year, but it will be nice to see it in the flesh and under the sunlight rather than projectors. The production models Aston is bringing along are far more interesting though. There is the super deluxe, 540 hp DB9 GT and the Lagonda Taraf super saloon which will be exclusively available for viewings to customers and invited guests at the Aston Martin Estate.
If you couldn’t get to the Estate and view the Taraf, don’t be sad. It’s a stupid thing anyway. It’s a Rapide S dressed in a dishdasha to impress rich Arabs. What you want to see is the Vulcan hyper track car which will be on display on the lawn, flaunting its awesome looks, maybe firing its 800+ horsepower V12 engine and do a bit of revving for the fans. Aston Martin Vulcan will undoubtedly be one of the biggest attractions of this year’s Pebble Beach, unless Lamborghini’s new HyperVeloce overshadows it.
