The guys at Carlex Design, a European interior specialist, are on fire these days, releasing one hot project after another. The latest is the exclusive Carlex Design Ford Mustang featuring a bespoke treatment designed, according to Carlex, to match the American muscle car’s character.

Compared to their previous works, at first sight Carlex Design Ford Mustang appears to have a fairly simple design. But if you look closer you notice there are a lot of subtleties in there, little details that will make you feel good as you gradually discover them. That’s why it’s so cool.

The main highlight of this program is the black and red theme, with the former color playing the lead role supported by red accents, stitching, and piping in various places. The black leather on the seats, dashboard, door cards, and consoles is complemented by decorative trim in piano black and red overstitching.

The combo lifts the cabin up and gives it an air of quality that was missing in the standard Mustang cabin. American cars have always had rubbish interiors, especially this generation of the ‘Stang. That is why Carlex Design Ford Mustang is a remarkable achievement: because it was an enormous challenge. This car apparently benefits from a magnificent exhaust system and soundtrack which sadly we can’t hear.
