So a few days ago Honda unveiled the new Accord Coupe and, as you would expect, it didn’t really attracted much attention. The car has limited appeal. Turns out they are doing it wrong. What they should have made instead is this Honda Accord Cabrio.

Whichever way you look at it, Honda Accord Cabrio makes more sense than the Coupe version. It covers a wider market; it doesn’t have much in the way of competition – at least in the Accord’s price range; and I think you would agree it also looks better than the coupe as well. At least it is more exciting.

We absolutely adore affordable sporty drop tops because they are champagne motoring for lemonade money. You get all the convenience and practicality of a normal, run of the mill family car, but with ninety million miles of sky. And nobody’s going to hate you because it’s not a fancy car.

So because of all that we think there is a case to be made for the Honda Accord Cabrio. And if Honda doesn’t think so, we just enjoy looking at this picture and laugh when they release the sales number for the Coupe!
