Besides insisting on renaming the cars they work on, German tuner VATH also has a peculiar way of addressing them. In their press release they refer to the latest project, VATH Mercedes GLA 45 AMG, as “victim,” even though they have done great things to it.

Now called the “V45,” VATH Mercedes GLA 45 AMG comes with a couple of stages of tune for its 2.0 liter turbocharged engine. Stage 1 increases the standard 360 hp to 395 horsepower and also gives you 485 Nm of torque and a top speed of 280 km/h (174 mph), all for 2,356 Euros. Stage 2, meanwhile, does something with the turbos and increases the output all the way up to 446 horsepower with 539 Nm.

The second stage of upgrade VATH Mercedes GLA 45 AMG is complicated and pricey and includes stuff like stainless steel down pipe for 2,000 Euros and valve controlled axle back exhaust system with oval tailpipes for 3,439 Euros. With that kind of power you should also buy the chassis upgrade parts which include 30mm lowering suspension for 452 Euro and SRF racing brake fluid for 464 Euros. The tuner even offers a fuel cooler for 1,773 Euros and a gearbox oil cooler for 1,249 Euros.

VATH Mercedes GLA 45 AMG also gets a subtle aero kit consisting of front spoiler lip, rear diffusor and trunk spoiler lip and some interior upgrade such as sport steering wheel, sport pedal set, and black velvet foot mats.
