It is a huge gain considering the ingredients of the package are a few lines of codes and it only takes Mcchip technicians 4 to 6 hours to have it up and running on your BMW X5M. When they are done with the X5M, the 4.4 liter bi-turbo V8 in it will churn out 628 horsepower and 864 Nm of torque (standard 575 PS and 750 Nm).
Fortunately, BMW X5M comes with a good enough chassis along with high-performance brakes and suspension so it can handle the extra oomph with ease. The car features an eight-speed M Steptronic transmission with Drivelogic, xDrive intelligent all-wheel drive and Dynamic Performance Control systems, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), double-wishbone front suspension, Dynamic Damper Control with electronically adjustable dampers, M Servotronic steering with individual adjustment, and 20-inch wheels.
