It is not at all likely that Pagani would skip the Roadster and a whole bunch of other versions of the Huayra they are supposed to make, and jump straight to an ‘R’ version. But it will eventually arrive, and when it does, this Pagani Huayra R could look something like the rendering you see here.

And in that case let us just say hallelujah ‘cause it looks awesome! This speculative rendering of the Pagani Huayra R is a work of CarLifestyle, and they have naturally mixed the designs of the Huayra with that of the Zonda R to arrive at it. So the car gets the massive rear wing, large air intakes, roof scoop, and a front splitter that looks like the mouth of a dragon.

They haven’t come up with any speculative performance figures for the Pagani Huayra R, so we are going to have a go. An ideal Huayra R, in our opinion, should have over 1,000 horsepower in order to compete with the likes of McLaren P1 GTR and Ferrari FXX K. It should also be easy to handle just like the Zonda R was, and it should be so fast and loud, it’s not even allowed in most race tracks around the world. And it should have a price tag reading at least $3 million.
