Top Gear’s new TV show might be off to a poor start, but their magazine is still going strong, probably because they never got mixed up with what was going on with the show. For the main feature of their February issue, the boys hit a wet Lake District in three of the latest, greatest super cars: Lamborghini Aventador SV, Porsche 991 GT3 RS and McLaren 675LT.

While you have to go get the magazine to read the whole story, the video below will give you a taste of what it’s like driving these magnificent machines on some of UK’s greatest driving roads. And don’t mind the wet. If anything, it makes things more interesting.

Just a quick recap of these cars specifications: Lamborghini Aventador SV is powered by a 740bhp V12 engine and boasts a single-clutch transmission. It goes from 0 to 60 mph in 2.8 seconds. Porsche 991 GT3 RS packs a 500 horsepower flat-six unit with a dual-clutch PDK gearbox and takes just over three seconds to hit 60 mph. And as for the McLaren 675LT, this car features a 670 horsepower turbo V8 and a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Zero to 60 in this car depends on where you set the power and handling switches, but you should be able to do it with launch control in about 2.9 seconds.
