The owners of the 2.0 liter VW Scirocco will be chuffed to know that German tuner Mcchip-DKR is now offering an upgrade package for their car which boosts its output to 330 horsepower. Given that the standard car has only 211 hp, that ought to liven things up a bit.
It’s a very deep and substantial power kit Mcchip has come up with for the Scirocco’s 2.0 liter TSI four-banger, but the result is astonishing. Mcchip VW Scirocco gets K03 upgrade turbocharger complete with new piping, exhaust down pipes, sport cats, upgraded intercooler and, of course, a new ECU software that makes these things work in harmony and extract the most out of them.
It’s a heavy and rather expensive job and it takes up to three days to complete. But at the end of it all your VW Scirocco no longer 211 PS and 280 Nm of torque, but a much more exciting 330 PS with 460 Nm. These are dyno-verified figures, but Mcchip has not tested the effect of the extra oomph on the performance of the car yet. Rest assured, it is going to be profound. In fact, you best get some uprated brakes too, just to be on the safe side!
