The latest version of Mercedes-AMG C63, in both sedan and wagon variants, has been the subject of many tuning programs since its release. And one of the latest tuned versions is a wagon tweaked by Mccip-DKR, gaining extra power and more focused handling.

The first thing the guys at Mcchip did to this Mercedes-AMG C63 Wagon when it arrived at the workshop was crack open its ECU to get to the chip that controls the engine parameters. Then they hooked it up to their computers and uploaded on it a software they have developed themselves. The result of this operation was a jump in power output from the standard 510 PS and 700 Nm of torque to 590 PS with 795 Nm. And these are dyno-proven figures.

Next, the Mercedes-AMG C63 Wagon was put on a lift and its suspension components taken out. The tuner replaced the car’s standard dampers and springs with high-performance, track-focused KW parts, finished in the firm’s signature yellow and purple. They are adjustable too, but the way Mcchip has set them up for this particular car seem to be, judging by the ride height and stance of the car, to be the perfect level. Benefits, other than totally bitchin’ looks, include better road holding and sure-footed cornering.
