Increasing the appeal of their sports sedan, coupe and convertible M3 and M4 models, BMW announced the launch a new Competition Pack. Boasting everything from power upgrade, to chassis mods and styling enhancements, BMW M3 and M4 Competition Pack can be ordered for new and existing cars.
On the performance front, BMW M3 and M4 Competition Pack comes with a software upgrade that increases the power output of the straight-six turbo engine from 420 to 444 horsepower. The extra oomph drops the 0-60 time of all models by 0.1 seconds. Complementing the power kit is a revised Adaptive M Suspension featuring new springs, dampers and anti-roll bars, along with reconfigured driving modes (Comfort, Sport and Sport+).
BMW M3 and M4 Competition Pack even get a retuned version of Active M Differential and Dynamic Stability Control as well as 20-inch lightweight rims with high-performance tires. So the driving experience could substantially differ from that of the standard versions. You will certainly notice a difference in the looks, as the Competition Pack models come with M sports exhaust system with black chrome tailpipes, high-gloss Shadow Line exterior trim and gloss black kidney grilles. Inside, the main highlights include M sports seats and M-striped seat belts.
BMW M3 and M4 Competition Pack is priced at $5,500 for the M3 sedan and M4 Coupe, and $5,000 for the Convertible M4.
