You remember this Audi R8 GT3 LMS, dubbed Recon MC8, as the R8 thoroughly upgraded by the boys at Mcchip-DKR. As if the previous modifications, which converted a normal R8 V10 into a GT3 LMS track car, weren’t enough, the car has now been given a cool urban camo wrap.

Well, we say it’s a camo wrap, but frankly it’s more like an art work, a post-modern painting that captures the tumultuous subconscious of the artist. Something like that. The bottom line is, it’s a pretty cool wrap, although we liked the car better with its naked carbon fiber panels on display. It looks more serious then.

Audi R8 GT3 LMS Recon MC8 is an engineering marvel in its own right. The base for this car was a 2014 Audi R8 V10 to which various tuners added various bits and bobs. The list of mods includes items such as LMS carbon fiber body panels, track-spec KW Competition 3 coilovers, supercharger, bespoke pulleys, intercooler, sport manifolds and filters, and Capristo exhaust system. No wonder then the engine makes 850 horsepower, 325 more than the standard.
