In the latest episode of the Head 2 Head program, Motor Trend boys Jason Cammisa and Jonny Lieberman put the new 2016 Camaro SS up against the BMW M4. The implication is clear: is the new Camaro so good a sports car, it can challenge the mighty Bimmer and possibly beat it at its own game?

Costing nearly twice as much as the Camaro SS, BMW M4 brings to the party a twin-turbo straight-six engine with 430 horsepower and one of the finest chassis in the business. On the opposite side, the American, as always, relies on size and firepower to resolve its issues with a 455 horsepower from a massive 6.2 liter V8 engine. Regardless of the fact that the Europeans would be able to extract a damn sight more than 455 hp out of such a big engine, the performance figures are roughly the same for both these coupes. So what do you think is worthy of your hard earned cash? The surgical, expensive and rather prissy Bimmer, or the big, rude, crude, and brutal Camaro?
