Nope, we’re not talking about the new Audi TT RS, but the previous generation. The new one, as you may know, comes out of the box with a 400 horsepower five-cylinder turbo engine. But if you own an older model you don’t have to trade it in for the new boy. There’s a simple trick that gives you the same power with very little hassle.

That trick is a new chip tuning kit designed by the experts at Mcchip-DKR. It takes only four hours to be installed on your electronic brain of your old Audi TT RS and when it’s there it unlocks an extra 60 horsepower from the engine just like that. So the standard power figures of 360 hp and 450 Nm will rise to 400 hp and 525 Nm once the new codes are active in the engine managing the ignition timing and fuel to air ratio.

So if it is power you want, there is no reason to shell out a whole bunch of Euros for the new Audi TT RS. But if you are tired of the looks of the car, well, sadly there isn’t a body kit good enough to rival the new looks of the 2016 model. The new one is a pretty hot looking broad and if you are charmed by it there is no other way round it than writing the check.
