One of the few things in the world that’s never disappointing is the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. This event is always full of automotive awesomeness, from magnificent vintage models to modern concepts and special editions. In this gallery you can check out some of the highlights of this year’s concours.
The focus here is more on the vintage and classic cars at 2016 Pebble Beach Concours, which is fair enough as the modern stuff, like Maybach Vision 6 and Lamborghini Centenario Roadster, are getting plenty enough time in other posts. Looking at these photos one cannot help but think that a large part of the greatness of this event is due to the location. There is just something magical about that lawn and that beach in general that makes all the difference. The same can be said of Villa d’Este in Italy and the Goodwood Estate in Britain. But those are the only places in the world where a concours of this caliber would work.
