When a road-legal McLaren P1 GTR was spotted in Monaco everybody lost their head at the sight of this track monster on public roads. And that car was converted for road use. This bad boy you see here cruising around on the streets of California is a full-blooded race car. So what do you have to say about this?
This is one of the good things about Monterey Car Week. For about a week it seems all the traffic laws are suspended so the rich and the famous can have a good time. And if that means driving a race car with show car number plates on public roads, so be it. The usually extra-sensitive Police is happy to look the other way.
