Usually when it comes to renderings you guys prefer the artists to give you an early look at something rad like the Lamborghini Centenario Roadster. But this time we have something more down to earth, something a lot of people might be looking forward to buying. Feast your eyes on the next Renault Megane Coupe-Cabriolet.

Granted, it’s a rendering, but the Renault Megane Coupe-Cabriolet you see here is almost certainly what the real thing will look like when the French company gets around making it. To create this car designer Theophilus Chin did what Renault themselves does when they make the real one, which is take the face of the current Megane hatchback and stick it on the body a coupe body with a folding hard top.

So yes, this is almost certainly what the 2017 Renault Megane Coupe-Cabriolet facelift is going to look like. We hope Renault retains the good features of the current model, like the glass roof and excellent ride comfort, in the new model, while addressing its main issues which include roly poly handling and a not so stiff chassis. At any rate, the coupe-cabrio Megane has always been a good choice for those who want a cool and comfortable drop-top cruiser with excellent features and a reasonable price tag.
