As usual it is X-Tomi Design who brings us images of various different versions of a new car a short after its debut. What he is presenting this time include a couple of high-performance variants of the recently introduced Skoda Kodiaq SUV. He has rendered the car in both RS and Monte Carlo guises.

The inspiration behind these models was Skoda’s rich line of hot hatchbacks which bear the same designations. Likewise, Skoda Kodiaq RS and Monte Carlo get visual features borrowed from the aforesaid souped-up models, which is all right, because they just work on the SUV.

The main highlights of RS treatment include the addition of modified aprons with sporty bumpers, blacked-out accents, grilles, mirrors and window surrounds, blacked-out roof with new panels, and a set of large wheels with red brake calipers. The Monte Carlo, meanwhile, relies more on contrasting colors than visual features but it also gets its fair share of black accents and also a cool set of rims.

Of these two the Skoda Kodiaq RS has a better chance of getting green lighted by the company. In fact, the car could already be in the pipeline seeing as SEAT is said to be working on a hot version of their new SUV, the Ateca.
