Mecum Auctions is set to continue their winning streak with big sales in 2016 at their upcoming event in Anaheim on November 17-19. The focus of this auction is on American muscles and one of the stars is this sweet 1957 Ford Thunderbird E-Code, one of the last ones ever produced.

A factory E-Code model boasting a 312 CI V-8 engine with dual 4-barrel carburetors, this 1957 Ford Thunderbird boasts one of the most desirable T-Bird specs. It comes in black with a porthole hardtop and canvas soft top, and all the chromes and shiny parts are in excellent condition. The car has never been in an accident and its restoration has been done with original Ford parts.

This iconic American car is one of those classics you want to drive everywhere because you want people to see you in it. So it’s a good thing that it comes with power windows, steering and brakes, and that it has a Town and Country radio, although what would that pick up these days we’re not sure. Even though this T-Bird comes with two roofs we think it looks its best topless, especially since it’s meant for cruising with its smooth engine and three-speed Ford-O-Matic transmission.

We will keep you posted about the estimate on this T-Bird in case you want to go all the way to Anaheim and bid on it.
