Roush Performance’s 500 hp Ford Focus RS made such a stir at this year’s SEMA show, no one really paid any attention to their other star car, the 2017 Roush Ford F-150. Dubbed Nitemare, this high-performance pickup truck is the “Quickest Factory Street Truck” in the world.

At least that is what Ford and Roush Performance claim. And they are probably right, since we can’t remember any other truck capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in 4.2 seconds… you know, unless they have nitrous or something. Roush Ford F-150 Nitemare can do that because it features a 2.3L ROUSH Supercharger on top of its 5.0L Ti-VCT engine and a ROUSH exhaust underneath it.

That combination results in an output of 600 horsepower and 557 lb-ft of torque which is the kind of power you get from a Ferrari or a top-of-the-line AMG Mercedes. Sadly, Roush Ford F-150 does not exactly look the part. The biggest highlight of this truck styling-wise, apart from the black-out pieces and the graphics package, is a ROUSH front fascia and a set of 20″ Forged wheels and Ultra high performance Cooper Tires. Still, what this truck does is make us more excited about the next Roush Raptor.
