Chevy’s light treatment of Camaros for this year’s SEMA show continues with this, the rather handsome 2017 Camaro SS Slammer. This Dazzling Black version of the Camaro is designed as the ultimate street crawler with a road-hugging stance and unique styling accessories.

The meat of Camaro SS Slammer upgrade program is an air suspension system which works in tandem with custom 22-inch front and 24-inch rear chrome wheels shod with 245/30R22 tires in front and 275/25R24 in the rear. The styling comes from Chevrolet Accessories, and it includes a ground effects kit, black bowtie emblems and Camaro fender badges and they are complemented with tinted head and tail lights.

The Camaro SS Slammer is powered by a LT1 6.2L V-8 rated at 455 horsepower and 455 lb.-ft. of torque, matched with the six-speed manual transmission with Active Rev Match. Its equipment highlights include custom painted Chevrolet Performance engine cover, close-outs in the engine compartment panels, Chevrolet Performance Brembo front brake kit, axle-back, stainless steel exhaust system,and Bose audio system with Active Noise Cancellation calibration.
