Yes, there are those who buy a 630 horsepower Mercedes and still find it underpowered. The unassuming VATH Mercedes SL65 AMG is built for these people, and it round things up to a nice and neat 700 horsepower and improves the standard car’s dynamics as well.

To achieve that output VATH Mercedes SL65 AMG gets a number of modifications on its V12 bi-turbo engine. It’s a 6.980 Euro package plus 650 Euro for installation, and it includes an ECU remap, revised water/heat exchanger and a high flow air filter. The tuner has also removed the top speed limiter in the process of upgrading the engine, so given the right tires this SL can reach 325 km/h.

As for the dynamics, VATH Mercedes SL65 AMG gets a 1.450 Euro modification on the standard ABC sport chassis (Active Body Control) with enough lowering of the ride height to make the car handle and look better without compromising the ride comfort. They must have found the V12 engine a bit weak on the noise front because they have also fitted a valve-controlled exhaust system for 3.890 Euro plus 450 Euro for installation.

Last but not least, VATH offers a set of expensive 7.800 Euro lack 20 inch wheels measuring 10,0 x 20 with tires in size 265/30 ZR20 on the front axle and 12,0 x 20 with 305/25 ZR20 rubber on the rear axle. And that’s how you teach AMG a lesson in making extreme cars.
