While Carlsson’s take on the S-Class Convertible is somewhat controversial, you can’t really fault what they have done to the C63 AMG here on account of it having 625 horsepower and doing 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds! Carlsson Mercedes-AMG C63 eats the bigger, badder E63 for breakfast now.
They have called this one the CC63S which goes to show Carlsson is not really very good with names. But whatever they lack in language skills, and maybe in the styling department, they more than make up for in engineering work. Through a number of adjustments they have added an impressive 115 hp and 125 Nm to the output of the 4.0 liter turbo V8 which this car shares with the AMG GT. That means Carlsson Mercedes-AMG C63 has 625 hp and 85 Nm of torque which, as mentioned, gives it super car-like performance.
Carlsson has also given their CC63S a nice little aero kit consisting of front spoiler lip and augmented air intake frames, extra flicks on the apron for guiding air, side skirts, rear apron, and boot lid spoiler, all in carbon fiber. The kit is then complemented with black-chromed tailpipes that flank the diffuser and connect to the bespoke stainless steel sports exhaust system, and a set of exclusive wheels tailored for Carlsson Mercedes-AMG C63 with toleration for the kind of speeds it can achieve.
